The AOK Scholarship

AOK Scholarship Information

The AOK Scholarship is designed to recognize students who demonstrate dedication to karate, a clear vision for their future, and meaningful goals both in and out of the martial arts. This scholarship reflects AOK’s commitment to supporting the discipline, leadership, and personal growth developed through karate.

Funding for the AOK Scholarship comes from the Fred Simon Benefit Tournament and additional AOK proceeds, making this award a direct result of the AOK community giving back to its students.

Beginning in 2026, AOK Scholarship awards will be presented annually in May.

Eligibility and Consideration

The AOK Scholarship is open to students of all ages. While all eligible applicants will be considered, priority consideration may be given to students who are closer to high school graduation or who are already enrolled in a college or university, as the scholarship is intended to assist with upcoming or current higher education expenses.

Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the accredited college or university the recipient is attending.
